Skin is prepped and cleansed thoroughly before peeling solution is applied to the skin. Patients may feel a slight stinging or tingling sensation which subsides after 30-60 seconds. The solution has a self-numbing action which activates after the first pass.

7 day recovery. Immediately after the peel has been applied the skin will either appear red, like a sunburn, or darker. On day three, peeling will begin which involves the sloughing of thin sheets of skin.  Homecare kit helps reduce the visibility of peeling by hydrating. By day six or seven the peeling process should be complete.

Avoid excessive sun-exposure, harsh topicals including exfoliants, antibiotics & retinol products & waxing or hair removal for 5-7 days prior to tx. Those prone to coldsore break-outs should pre-treatment with suitable anti-viral medication.

You will receive a two step homeware regime to use day 1 & 2 of your treatment. Normal activities can resume however strenuous exercise and makeup should be avoided 48 hours post-treatment. Intense sun exposure, swimming & heavy sweating should be avoided throughout peeling process.
