 BIO-REMODELING

    • Avoid non-medically necessary blood thinners such as fish oil for 7 days prior to treatment as this increases the risk of bruising.

      Treatment will not be performed:

      • If you are pregnant or breastfeeding

      • If you are experiencing a cold sore outbreak

    • Avoid touching / rubbing / putting pressure on the treated area/s for 24-48 hours post treatment. Sleep on your back if possible for the first evening.

    • Do not expose area to intense heat immediately after treatment (eg Solarium, sauna, sun-baking etc).

    • No exercise for 24 hours post treatment - avoid raising body temperature and pressure (includes massage)

    • Delay any other facial treatments for 3-5 days following your treatment.

 

CLEAR + BRILLIANT

MICRONEEDLING

Avoid anti-inflammatory medications such as Advil, Ibuprofen or Motrin (and other blood-thinners like Fish Oil) up to 3 days prior (these inhibit the inflammatory response of the skin - which is an important part of the procedure!)

  • You will receive a custom post-care balm to soothe & nourish your skin for the next few days post tx. Avoid saunas / steam, swimming / hot tubs, wearing make-up, strenuous exercise and excessive sun-exposure for 24-48 hours. Wait 7 days before resuming exfoliants & retinol products.

 

DERMRX (PRX-T33)

  • Avoid excessive sun-exposure, harsh topicals including exfoliants, antibiotics & retinol products & waxing or hair removal for 5-7 days prior to tx. Those prone to coldsore break-outs should pre-treatment with suitable anti-viral medication.

  • You will receive a two step homeware regime to use throughout the course of your treatment plan; a nourishing and soothing face moisturizer + an exfoliating facial smoothing fluid (rich in glycolic & lactic acid). Avoid saunas / steam, swimming / hot tubs, rigorous exercise and excessive sun-exposure for 24 hours. Consult with your practitioner before incorporating any other skincare items during your tx series.

 

LASER HAIR REMOVAL

  • -Any hair removal methods other than shaving must be avoided for 6 weeks prior to your appointment (and for the duration of your tx series). This includes waxing, electrolysis, tweezing and chemical hair removal creams.

    - Treatment area must be clean-shaven 12-24 hours prior to treatment.

    - Skin must be clean and free of makeup, lotions, oils, deodorant, sunless tanning products, numbing cream, etc. Products on the skin can increase the likelihood of adverse reactions from the laser.

    - Avoid physical activities that increase body temperature for at least 2 hours before treatments.

    - Skin that is sunburned, hot to the touch, peeling or is otherwise damaged cannot be treated.

  • - Mild redness and swelling of the hair follicles may occur (histamine reaction). This is normal and should lessen with time. Avoid picking or scratching the skin. Cool cloths may be applied.

    - Avoid activities that increase body temperature for at least 2 hours after treatment, or longer if redness and bumps persists.

    - Avoid direct sun exposure and tanning beds, hot tubs and saunas for 48 hours post-tx.
